Responsibilities: Key business leader for mid-west. Provided support to region’s largest employers on legal, ER and strategic management matters. Directed IBEC service provision to member companies, leading a team of six staff. Chaired a number of IBEC regional policy committees comprising 40 CEO’s from mid-west and Kerry flagship employers. Oversaw IBEC’s regional submission for capital funding on behalf of IBEC mid-west for input into National Development Plan to provide for key infrastructural and service provision.

Responsibilities: Legal and employment advisor, representative and chief negotiator for many of the largest and most significant employers in Cork city and county. Represented member companies at Labour Court, Tribunals and Conciliation Conferences (LRC) and “Rights Commissioner” hearings. Also represented IBEC on a number of National Joint Labour Committees/Councils and served as secretary for Cork Cargo Handling Company (Port Rationalisation) and Director of Cork Master Printers Association.
